Families across every state visit Cleveland, Ohio because once you went there, the fun never stops. Here are the three fun family activities that you and your kids can do when you visit Cleveland, Ohio (even in the month of January):

1. Visit A Christmas Story House – It might look like a simple house but this is where the popular 1983 film A Christmas Story is filmed. Brian Jones, an entrepreneur and A Christmas Story fan, brought this house on December 2004, restored it and opened it to public on November 25, 2006. People, whether young or old, can walk inside the house or visit the A Christmas Story House Museum a few steps away. In this museum, you can see the actual props used and behind-the-scene photos or buy some movie memorabilia. Admission fee costs $10 for adults, $6 for children aged between 7 and 12 years and free for children aged 6 years and below.

2. Visit the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame – Does your children love music? If so, then you have to visit the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame near Lake Erie in Cleveland. You and your family can listen to different Rock and Roll music using the headphones on the walls and view the featured singers’ portraits, personalized music instruments, handwritten lyrics and musical scores, stage props and even childhood memorabilia. Admission is $22 for adults, $13 for children aged between 9 and 12 years and free for children aged 8 years and below although adults can get a membership.

3. Enter the Mid-America Boat Show – On January 13-22, 2012, the International Exposition (I-X) Center will feature the annual indoor Mid-America Boat Show. Kids will surely love to see big and different powerboats, fishing boats, watercrafts and sailboats on display and dads can have a good time buying boats and accessories to use for the family’s next fishing trip. Admission fee costs $12 for adults and free for children aged 12 years and below, although adults who bring four cans of food on January 17 for the Hunger Network will receive free admission for the show.
